OUR QUEST

Maryanne and Braxton are a mother son running team who have been running together now for 8 years. Braxton is 12 yrs old and started his Mission when he was 5 years old for running with fallen officers. He begged his mother Maryanne to let him run which in turn caused her to start running with him. Braxton heard about a fallen officer which is when he developed Braxton Running for People Who Can't. This was a way that he could bring attention and raise money for those that are in need in various ways. That expanded into running for ill children, animal awareness organizations and other areas he felt he could make a difference. He continues to hear stories of people or organizations in need and want to make a difference. He believes that if we all support each other regardless of needs that world would be a better place.

Even though Maryanne can no longer keep up with Braxton's speed he has set a new goal for them both! The World 1/2 Marathon Series which is to run 7 races, in 7 continents, in 7 days. It will be a world record for both the youngest person to run the series as well as the 1st Mother Son Team.
